| Ministry of St. Joseph Consolers |
Council 4442 is a proud supporter of the Saint Joseph Consolers Ministry of St. Joseph parish. The Consolers provide bereavement support for families before, during and after funeral services. Outreach services include:
- Assisting the bereaved to plan their loved one's funeral
- Hand off of a meal symbolic of Parish Community support
- Praying the Rite of Initial Separation at the funeral home just prior to the procession to the Church
- Serving at the funeral Mass
- Assisting at the Mercy Meal following internment
- Providing a monthly follow up letter with a list of important resources to turn to
Any member wishing to join this compassionate outreach program can contact the Office Manager at St. Joseph's parish. Materials and training are provided, you always serve as a team and the rewards are immeasurable.
