Prayer for the Sick
Omnipotent and eternal God, the everlasting Salvation of those who believe, hear us on behalf of your sick servant, N., for whom we beg the aid of your pitying mercy, that, with his bodily health restored, he may give thanks to you in your church. Make them well again, so that they may take up a full and active life once more in the community. We ask You especially to help those who do not believe in You and who can see no meaning in their suffering. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Prayer for the Departed
Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord; and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace. Amen.
Almighty God, through the death of your Son on the cross, you have overcome death for us. Through his burial and resurrection from the dead you have made the grave a holy place and restored us to eternal life. We pray for those who died believing in Jesus and are buried with him in the hope of rising again. God of the living and the dead may, N., who faithfully believed in you on earth praise you for ever in the joy of heaven. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed, rest in peace. Amen
