TOOTSIE ROLL DRIVE
Our annual Tootsie Roll Drive will take place on April 25, 26 and 27. This is a wonderful opportunity to support our council and at the same time our community. Come on out with your family, put on one of the stylish yellow aprons, and spend an hour or two handing out tootsie rolls. Together we can make this years tootsie roll drive a huge success!
FEBRUARY KNIGHTS OF THE MONTH
 Louis Stella and Paul Simard

Louis "Lou" Stella and Paul Simard are recognized for their outstanding job as Co-Bingo Managers for the Council's Bingo Program.  Both Lou and Paul have put their heart and soul into running these games.  In the past recent months, Bingo has struggled in producing funding for the Council.  Several demanding and difficult decisions had to be made at their level, going beyond the call of duty of what the Council expects from our Managers.  Their leadership, during this difficult time, has inspired the cooperation and confidence of others.  Where Bingo is the Council's major source of income that allows us to do the donations we do every year, Lou and Paul continuously find new and better ways of performing their job and provide funding for the Council.  Lou and Paul are true Catholic Gentleman.  Their dedication and devotion to service are most heartily commended and are in keeping with the highest traditions of the Knights of Columbus.

JANUARY KNIGHT OF THE MONTH
Paul St. Amand

This Council year, Paul has done an outstanding job as our Lecturer, a very demanding but special position.  Paul also is our Chairman for the Soldiers Aid Program, where he tirelessly gathers items to be send overseas in support of our troops.  Paul is an individual with boundless energy and a positive but unique sense of humor, which keeps the Council smiling.  Paul put in a lot of time and effort to establish a 1st degree team for our Council.  Additionally, Paul also volunteered to call and administer the Advertisers to the Council's Newsletter and he is diligently chairing the effort to have a CPR Class for Brother Knights and their families.  There is no stopping his energy and efforts in helping and supporting our Council, Church and Community.  Paul is a true Catholic Gentleman.  His dedication and devotion to service are most heartily commended and are in keeping with the highest traditions of the Knights of Columbus.

EUCHARISTIC ADORATION
Both St. Joseph and Mary Queen of Peace host Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament each month. All Knights are invited to come spend an hour with the Lord in the Blessed Sacrament.

Twice monthly, St. Josephs hosts Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament. Adoration is on the First Friday of each month from noon to 5 PM in the church. Adoration is also held on the third Friday and Saturday of each month in St. Julie Hall from 6 PM to noon the next day. There are sign-up sheets in the church by each entrance.

On the third Wednesday of each month, Mary Queen of Peace hosts Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament from 6 PM to 9 PM. To sign-up for a specific time period, call Cindy Routhier at 603-893-9176.

Please check the church bulletins for further details. Click here for St. Joseph bulletin. Click here for Mary Queen of Peace bulletin.
MEN'S PRAYER BREAKFAST

The king will say to those on his right: 'Come. You have my Father's blessing! Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the creation of the world. ? I assure you, as often as you [fed, welcomed, clothed, comforted, visited] one of my least brothers, you did it for me.' Matthew 25: 34, 40

The Men's Prayer Breakfast is held in St. Julie Hall typically the last Saturday of every month. The breakfast is free, although donations are accepted. Coffee is ready at 7:30, breakfast at 8:00 and we are typically done by 9:30.

There has been a growing number of Knights in attendance each month and we would like to see the trend continue. Our appearance there solidifies the Unity between the Church and the Council. Remember, it is open to all those who wish to gain a meaningful experience from Prayer and reflection. Speakers are usually great and provide excellent food for thought.

Please consider sharing the experience by inviting someone to join us. Whoever acknowledges me before men, I will acknowledge before my Father in heaven. Matthew 11:32

For more information, contact Dick Collopy at 898-7020. We hope to see many Brother Knights in attendance.

LOWELL SPINNERS BASEBALL GAME

Once again, the Council will be sponsoring an outing to a Lowell Spinners minor league game in Lowell.   The date is set for Wednesday. evening August 6th  at 7:00PM.  We have the entire section of seats along the third base side.

All tickets are premium box seats in section 117 (we have the entire section) along the third base line. The tickets will go fast and are on a first come, first serve basis as usual based upon payment for tickets. Until I can get the new Chairperson Anthony Fabrizio up to speed on the process, send all money for tickets made out to the Bishop Peterson Council; K of C to my address at 57A Main Street, Atkinson NH 03811.  Tickets are $8.00 each.

If you have not been to a game before, this is the perfect opportunity to bring your spouse, children, grandchildren or just friends for a nice evening.  The spinners are a Red Sox farm team and it would be nice to say that you have seen a future star of the Red Sox in his early years.

Again, while August seems a long time away, if you wait till then, tickets will be gone.  As you probably know, regular tickets for the Spinners games sell out each year.  While I don?t need the money right away, at least let me know if you plan on going so I can reserve the tickets for you.  You can call me at 603-489-1507 or Email me at APhair at aol dot com.
